The business need: Activision wanted a website dedicated to their new product—Skylander characters that can augment their powers by switching tops and bottoms with other characters.  

The insight: Let the products do the visual talking–seeing is believing with paralaxing. 

The solution: As users scroll down the website, Skylanders Swapforce characters split—and exchange tops and bottoms! The interaction would visually showcase the ease of swapping characters and the customization of powers. In order to showcase this interaction during the presentation, we felt it would be best to have the presentation deck animate as we scrolled down. This, in turn, gave the illusion of paralaxing, allowing our audience to understand what we were going to build for them. The deck we presented is below as a PDF. We got a standing ovation after our presentation. The website design is below the deck.
